hey fam and friends!
My family has a ton of March birthdays so I will just say happy birthday to all of them!
This week was great. As Always.
P-day the weather was so perfect so we sat on the deck and wrote letters and it was blissful. Tuesday we had zone training and interviews with President. He is the greatest mission President ever. Wednesday we went to one of our investigators soccer games! That was fun. I miss soccer.
Thursday we had a lesson on the beach with our recent convert and then we went to dinner with him. It was great. We also got to spend some time with our wonderful ward mission leader and his wife since an appointment fell through. That was super. We are blessed with such great people up here in Lake Tahoe.
The weather was so nice and we had a bunch of lessons on the beach.
Friday we found this boy named Julio who I have not seen forever and I was just filled with this overwhelming sense of love. We just see miracle after miracle and that is what keeps us going everyday! It is so wonderful to see The Lord's hand in the work. We had a great lesson with Juan. He is really doing great. Saturday we had 2 baptisms in our ward. That was awesome to see.
While we were walking around in Kings Beach, there was this big family that came up to us and said they wanted to say hi to the missionaries! That was awesome to see a mormon fam of 7. They took us out to Taco bell. It is so nice to see other members.
Yesterday we had stake conference in Reno. We got a ride with the family that we live with, The Rogers. They are the greatest. Stake conference was incredible. they talked a lot about Temples and Family History work and Joseph Smith and how he was truly a humble servant who admitted his faults and fulfilled prophecies. It was spiritually edifying indeed. Juan came to stake conference! That was super grand! We then went to a members house and ate pancakes.
"Hard times will consistently be there but so will Christ" I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can be spiritually healed and He will be with us every step of the way. This gospel is true. Gospel= Good news! This gospel heals starving souls. This gospel is for everyone, no matter the circumstance.
