I hope ya'll had a splendid week!
It was probably one of the most exhausting, spiritually, physically, and mentally! and it was the most rewarding week in all aspects, and i am so grateful for it. it started out on Monday- our car broke down and so we took it to the shop, and then we had to call till we found a ride home haha and then once we got home we painted our room and cleaned up the ceiling part haha- so that was good, finally getting our room back into a semi order of things.
then on Tuesday we had exchanges- still no car haha so we walked everywhere which i loved actually! but then we were able to pick up our car at the end of the day which was awesome!
then on Thursday our room needed some more work to do on it so the president put us up in a hotel which was nice because we haven't slept in a bed in over a month! oh my goodness i was so grateful- but felt bad that they had to do that, but it has been good to get some organization- and some good sleep!
then on Friday we had more exchanges! and just some issues with a couple of sisters- which i was so grateful that we were able to help them. The lord truly does place us in peoples lives for a reason so that we can help to lift them and bring them closer to our savior Jesus Christ.
Then on Saturday we had a baptism! well the Spanish sisters did but it was really cool because we had found her like two months ago and taught her a couple time and then passed her off- so it was cool to be able to see how quickly she came to accept the gospel and make changes in her life, all because she felt that it was right and it made sense. Which is how the Lord speaks to us through our mind and through our heart- when those become aligned you've got it!
Then on Sunday I woke up at 12am and got sick- so we went to sacrament and then went home and slept. later in the day though- shelby(a recent convert) went with Sister Wilkins and I stayed with grandma! and so this week while it was crazy the Lord truly did sustain us and did give us the strength to accomplish more then what we normally accomplish even though so many other things happened! I love it! i am so grateful for opposition, in it we are able to see the greatest good the sweetest taste of the gospel.
i love my Savior and all that He has done and still does for me. the Atonement is real, Christ knows each one of us perfectly he has already paid the price for everything that we would ever do everything that we would feel. We are NEVER alone! I know that He saw each one of us and experienced everything we would ever experience on a personal level!
i love you all and hope you have a great week and make every second count, one of my favorite things from the general womens conference was from president uchtdorf, now is part of eternity, eternity is made up of nows- so fill it with meaningful things.
I love you all!!
shall we not go on in so great a cause?
Love,
Sister Underly
