Week 6 She Left Mexico and made it to Reno:)

Lexie and her traveling missionary buddies left Mexico City bright and early last Tuesday morning, took a 7 hour flight to San Francisco, for a short layover, before flying out to Reno.  Sister Gallini (Elder Gallini's mom) was in Cali for business, and was able to hang out with them for that layover.  She was so sweet, had phones for them to call their mama's and bought them a smoothie:)  I spoke to Lexie for about 30 minutes and she sounded SO great.  SO happy! SO pumped up!  The first thing she shared with me was of her experience on the plane out of Mexico.  She sat by a man from Lebanon, who was Christian, and Lexie said she was so nervous, but kept telling herself to just "go for it."  So, she struck up conversation with him, and ended up having an awesome discussion with him for the whole trip.  He was so touched and in agreement with everything she was sharing with him, and when they left, he asked for more information on the Church.  She got his info and promised to send the missionaries his way.  She was so cute.  So happy.  So excited that she had her first Missionary experience:)

Thursday night, we heard from her Mission President, via an email with a letter and pix from Lexie.

and with President and Sister Hermanson.

Hermana Underly with President and Sister Hermansen when she arrived in Reno.  These 2 awesome people are in charge of all 200 plus missionaries in the Nevada Reno Mission.  Anything these missionaries need, they can count on their Mission President and his wife.  They are a huge support.
The missionaries are not alone out there:)

On the Monday before she flew out of Mexico, Lexie sent these pix ...
